42. What are the responsibilities of an educated person? (University of Puget Sound)
I am a citizen of a country, that promotes education and I myself has received an education from kinder garden to high school. The average person would call me educated from the looks of how I talk, dress and my knowledge. My duties as a educated individual stand to correct and protect people from those educated ones who abuse them. There are numerous responsibilities that an educated man or woman has to take for themselves and for everyone else. Promoting education across the country, to keep standards of living high and prosperous, However educating everyone has a set of problems that government will have to face if the time comes. Educating, everyone can create a new social order, can question politicians for their word, and can crumble government. The educated do not want this situation to ever come, because it will rob them off their money, belongings and their power. There are examples, of this and can be seem in countries like North Korea, China and Russia. Each of these countries run on Communism. The United States of America and other democratic republics fear Communism, because of it has done to those counties in the past. Therefore, the duty of an educate person also lies in not educating the masses. Another responsibility that educated person is to learn from the uneducated, whether or not we may like it or not as their ways of surviving with nature always wins, each civilization always comes back to that world, but that will never happen because we as humans are always striving for a better life. Education is a cure and curse for humanity. Educators take it as a cure for giving a chance to the masses to ask and believe what they want; it allows them to make the right choices and to survive the civilized world from robbing them.
