There is so much to say.

If animals could talk, what would your pet say about you?

If animals could talk, it would be weird but at the same time  really cool. I have had dogs ever since i can remember, moving to the foothills of India. I first dog, Kajal was introduced to my family in 2001. She is the oldest of the lot. Since she is still ageing, she has been demanding a lot of things. Longer walks, longer time for sleeping in  bed, sleeping where she feels like, demanding for more food, whether its meat/pedigree in the food, or treats/ baked goods tat my sister makes. She loves baked goods. If she could talk she would, talk about the care, love and more love she has got over the years, but still feel left out since we have another dog, her son Chingu, who i favour a lot. She would  say i favour  her son more, but then for the stuff i just mentioned i she would blackmail me, into letting her get all that, but that wont happen, as long as she can chase monkeys, she is fit.
On the other hand, i have a good master - pet relationship. I favour more him, since the family thinks Kaju is getting is old, she deserves more. Since i favour him the most , everything is extended, Meals, walks, treats, but even with that he always wants more. He would praise me, and my efforts, but still say that i should do more for him.

  2. So you are an amazing master. It is people like you that are ideal human beings for animal welfare organizations. Well done.
But your ideas about what your dog would say is really vague.

    1. Thanks. My ideas are vague because only so much can be understood about the behavior of my dog towards me. Who knows what he thinks.

    2. I know what you mean, I wanted to do this topic but had no clue what my dog would think about me! Forget about vague, I really had no ideas as to what to write. It's almost like asking someone to write about themselves.
Though, I agree with the fact that you need to edit your post. There are very simple errors in here. Like "I first dog, Kajal..." instead of "My first dog??"
Besides the careless mistakes, your grammar seems okay.
You really got me missing my dog now. You're so lucky. I am totally gonna come visit your dogs sometime soon!

  3. Talking about the "care, love and more love" that Kajal has received is a good way to provide an insight into your own personality for the benefit of anyone screening college essays.

You never directly say it, but you make it obvious that you have a caring nature. I also like the way you give each of your dogs a character, a personality. You could easily elaborate on that to tell people more about yourself.

Are there any particular instances that might stand out to Kajal or Chingu? Certain memories that you share with them, a good deed you've done, etc?

As far as I'm concerned, a good relationship with pets speaks far more than relationships with people (then again, that might just be me). In any case, describe your pets in detail: how Chingu wags his tail when you do him a particular kindness, the soulful look that appears in Kajal's brown eyes when denied a treat (because you need to be stern in order to avoid spoiling her, even though it breaks your heart - tactical flaw right there), or just how excitedly they wag their tails whenever they see you.

Let your stories about your pets tell your reader a lot about you.

    - PD
